HPU Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026 - 26 Posts Across 10 Departments

Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla, has released the Recruitment 2026 notification (Rectt.- 30/2026) for 26 Assistant Professor posts across 10 academic departments. The notification was officially released on 07 August 2026, and the online application process commenced on 11 August 2026.

Eligibility is as per UGC Regulations, 2018, and for technical disciplines, applicable AICTE norms, 2019. Candidates must hold a Master's degree with the requisite qualification along with NET/Ph.D. as per norms of the respective discipline. The online application window will remain open until 07 September 2026, and the hard copy of the application along with self-attested documents must also reach the university by the same date.

Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 57,700 to Rs. 1,82,400 under Academic Level-10, along with Dearness Allowance and other benefits as per the norms of the State Government and University rules.
