Eligibility Criteria
- Who Can Apply: Only serving Home Guards (daily duty allowance recipients including sportspersons) enrolled and trained in Bihar Home Guard Vahini organization.
- Service Requirement: Minimum 5 years of service/duty in the organization. At least 10 years of remaining service as on 01-08-2026.
- Educational Qualification: Graduate degree from a recognized university or equivalent examination recognized by State Government, on or before 01-08-2026.
- Age Limit (as on 01-08-2026): Minimum 24 years, Maximum 50 years.
- Physical Standards: Height: General/BC Men 165cm, EBC/SC/ST Men 160cm, Women 155cm. Chest: General/BC/EBC Men 81cm/86cm, SC/ST Men 79cm/84cm. Weight: Women minimum 48kg.
Selection Process
Selection involves a three-stage process: Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Physical Efficiency Test. The final merit list will be prepared category-wise based on marks obtained in Main Exam Paper 2.

- Complete Part 1 (Registration) with name, nationality, mobile number, email ID, Bihar domicile status, reservation category, gender, and date of birth, then make the online fee payment.
- After successful registration and payment, a registration number and password will be sent via SMS and email.
- Log in and complete Part 2 of the form with father's/husband's name, mother's name, address, and educational qualification details.
- Upload a recent colour photograph (taken within last 2 months, white background, 15-25 KB, JPG/JPEG/GIF) and scanned signature (black or blue ink, white background, 15-25 KB).
- Review all details carefully using "Edit Details" option before final submission - no edits possible after confirmation.
- Download and print the Acknowledgement on A4 paper and retain for future reference.
Important Instructions:
