Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) has released a recruitment notification for 20 Trade Apprentice positions under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 in the Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Department. The vacancies are available in five trades including Welder, Electrician, Fitter, Motor Mechanic, and Electronics. Eligible candidates with ITI in the relevant trade can apply online through the Apprenticeship India portal from 24 August 2026 to 23 September 2026.

This apprenticeship opportunity is open to candidates who have passed ITI in the relevant trade from a recognised institute. The minimum age limit is 14 years as on 31 August 2026. The training period is one year and the monthly stipend ranges from Rs. 8,344.60 to Rs. 9,387.67 depending on the trade. There is no application fee for this recruitment.
