PET-2025 Score Mandatory — Shortlisting Based on Normalized PET Score

And you must have appeared in PET-2025 with a valid, non-zero, non-negative normalized score. See, this is how UPSSSC works — they conduct PET first, then use PET scores to shortlist candidates for main examination. So if your PET score is zero or negative, you cannot apply. And if your score is under investigation (UI) or provisional, you can apply conditionally. The shortlisting for main exam will be done category-wise, up to 15 times the number of vacancies. So based on your PET score rank, you may or may not get called for the main exam.
Application Fee Only ₹25 — No Exam Fee at This Stage
The application fee is just ₹25 for all categories — UR, OBC, SC, ST, everyone. See, this is only the processing fee. The main examination fee will be charged separately, only to candidates who are shortlisted for the main exam. So at this stage, you just pay ₹25 and submit the application. Payment can be done via Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or SBI e-Challan. And one thing — if your fee payment is successful but the application does not appear submitted, use the "Update Your Transaction ID by Double Verification" option on the UPSSSC website. This happens sometimes with UPSSSC portal. So do not panic, just use the reconciliation option.
