UPSSSC Computer Operator — 12 Posts, Apply Online

UPSSSC has released Advertisement No. 20-Pariksha/2026 for the Main Examination to fill 12 Computer Operator Grade-A and Assistant Computer Operator posts under the Office of the Advocate General, Allahabad High Court, Uttar Pradesh. Only candidates who appeared in PET-2025 and hold a valid PET-2025 score card can apply. Online applications are open from 07 September 2026 to 28 September 2026.

Computer Operator Grade-A requires a Bachelor's degree plus Diploma in Computer Science or NIELIT "O" Level certificate with 3 years of computer application experience. Assistant Computer Operator requires the same qualification but with 2 years of experience. Age limit is 21 to 40 years as on 01 July 2026. The application fee is Rs. 25 (online processing fee) for all categories.

Selection is through a written Main Examination. Shortlisting is done on the basis of normalized PET-2025 score, with 15 times the number of vacancies shortlisted category-wise. The Main Examination date, scheme, and syllabus will be notified separately. Fee reconciliation and permitted corrections can be completed until 05 October 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

• PET-2025: Must have appeared in PET-2025 and hold a valid PET-2025 score card. Candidates with zero or negative normalized PET-2025 score will not be shortlisted.
• Computer Operator Grade-A: Bachelor's degree (or recognized equivalent) + Diploma in Computer Science or NIELIT "O" Level certificate + 3 years experience in computer applications.
• Assistant Computer Operator: Bachelor's degree (or recognized equivalent) + Diploma in Computer Science or NIELIT "O" Level certificate + 2 years experience in computer applications.
• Age Limit: 21 to 40 years as on 01 July 2026. Higher upper age limit for SC/ST and other categories as per government notifications.
• Preferential Qualification: Preference to candidates with 2+ years Territorial Army service or NCC "B" Certificate.

Selection Process

Selection is through a written Main Examination under the UP Advocate General and Law Officer Establishment Service Rules, 2009 (as amended). Only PET-2025 qualified candidates can apply.

• Step 2: Log in using your PET-2025 Registration Number and OTP sent to registered mobile/email
• Step 3: Your PET-2025 details (name, parent's name, domicile, category, DOB, etc.) will be auto-displayed
• Step 4: Select the post(s) you wish to apply for
• Step 5: Confirm educational qualification details and enter board/university, year of passing, marks
• Step 6: Your PET-2025 photo and signature will be auto-displayed (cannot be changed)
• Step 7: Review, accept declaration, and click Save and Submit

Important Instructions

• Only one application accepted — last submitted application will be considered
• Reserved-category candidates must clearly mark their category; benefit of only one category given
• Non-UP domiciled candidates treated as Unreserved (no reservation benefits)
• Government servants must obtain NOC from employer
• Corrections permitted until 05 October 2026 via "Modify Application" option
• Providing incorrect information can lead to rejection and debarment
