SAIL BSP Recruitment 2026 Walk-In for 7 Consultant Posts

Walk-In Interview on 19 August 2026 — Salary Rs. 90,000 to Rs. 1,80,000 per Month

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP), Chhattisgarh has released a fresh notification (Advt No. BSP-06(Rectt.)/26-27) dated 03 August 2026 inviting eligible doctors for a walk-in interview to fill 7 Consultant posts (5 Specialist + 2 GDMO) on contract basis at its 860-bedded Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital and Research Centre and Mines-location hospitals in Durg district, Chhattisgarh.

The walk-in interview is scheduled for 19 August 2026 at the HRD Centre, Bhilai Steel Plant. Candidates aged up to 69 years holding MBBS (with PG Diploma/Degree for Specialist posts) and valid MCI/NMC/SMC registration can appear. There is no application fee. Monthly consolidated remuneration ranges from Rs. 90,000 to Rs. 1,80,000 depending on post and qualification.

A total of 7 Consultant posts (5 Specialist + 2 GDMO) are available at Bhilai Steel Plant hospitals including Mines locations. The discipline-wise distribution is as follows:

Note: GDMO posts have been identified suitable for PwBD candidates with minimum 40% disability of OA, OL, BL, OAL, CP, LC, Dw, AAV (Non-Surgical jobs), SLD and MD involving (a) to (b) above.

Specialist Posts

• Qualification: MBBS with PG Diploma or PG Degree in relevant speciality
• Registration: Valid registration with MCI/NMC/SMC or valid practitioner licence enrolled in State/National Register
• Experience: Post-qualification experience preferred

GDMO Posts

• Qualification: MBBS from a recognised medical college
• Registration: Valid registration with MCI/NMC/SMC or valid practitioner licence enrolled in State/National Register
• Internship: Internship completion certificate required

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 69 years as on 19 August 2026 (date of walk-in interview)

Contract Terms

• Duration: 1 year from date of joining, extendable up to 3 years
• Upper Age: 70 years during extended contract period
• Accommodation: Company accommodation may be provided subject to availability
• TA/DA: No TA/DA payable for attending the walk-in interview
