The National Informatics Centre (NIC), under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, has released Advertisement No. NIC/STA/2026/2 for 376 Scientific/Technical Assistant-A posts. This is a Group-B S&T (Non-Gazetted) post to be filled purely on the basis of a valid GATE score (2024, 2025, or 2026), with no written examination or interview involved. NIC Scientific/Technical Assistant-A Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process

Selection is based entirely on a valid GATE score. There is no written examination or interview. A category-wise merit list will be prepared for each discipline based on GATE Score, with equal weightage given to GATE 2024, GATE 2025, and GATE 2026 scores.

Note: Document verification will be conducted at Delhi or any other location approved by the competent authority. No request for postponement or change of location will be entertained, and no TA/DA will be paid.
