AAU Recruitment 2026 — Salary and Stipend

JRF Up to Rs. 42,000 + HRA — PA Rs. 32,000 — Research Fellow Rs. 20,000

The monthly remuneration for contractual research posts at AAU varies depending on the post and year of engagement. The JRF post has a provision of enhancement in the third year upon conversion to Senior Research Fellow (SRF).

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Rs. 37,000 + HRA per month for 1st & 2nd year; Rs. 42,000 + HRA per month for 3rd year (as SRF)
• Project Assistant (PA): Rs. 32,000 per month
• Contractual Staff (Research Fellow): Rs. 20,000 per month

These are purely contractual and temporary positions. The engagement will be for the duration of the respective research project as sanctioned by the funding agency. No other allowances or benefits such as DA, leave encashment, or pension will be applicable.

Maximum 35 Years (Male) — 40 Years (Female)

AAU Recruitment 2026 — Selection Process

Walk-in-Interview — No Written Test — No Application Fee

Selection for AAU Recruitment 2026 will be purely on the basis of a walk-in interview. There will be no written test, computer-based test, or any other examination. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria must appear in person on 21 August 2026 at the designated venue.

• Stage I: Walk-in Interview — Personal interaction with the selection panel
• Stage II: Document Verification — Original certificates will be verified at the venue
• Stage III: Final Selection — Based on interview performance and eligibility

The decision of the selection committee will be final. Selected candidates will be offered contractual engagement for the duration of the respective research project. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
